This amount of money represents a year worth of hard team work, collaboration of the community and planning of creative ways to raise funds to support Nueva Vida in its mission to provide services and programs that help medically underserved Latinas in their fight against cancer.  Nueva Vida focuses mostly on Latino women with breast and gynecological cancers in the DC area.  We invite you to read more about Nueva Vida in our article Latinas 4 Latinas in Support of Nueva Vida.

Although Latinas 4 Latinas’ suite of fundraising events in 2017 varied in nature (sports, fashion and art) and were targeted to different audiences, they all had the same driving force behind them: to raise funds for the medically underserved Latino women with cancer in the DC. At Latinas 4 Latinas, we do what we do with our heart and love for the women in our community, trying to make a difference one cause at a time.

We want to thank everyone who has believed in us since our inception, who has supported us this past year and come to our events as well as to all those corporations for their sponsorship. We could not have done this without you.  Please continue to support us in 2018.

As we continue in our mission to empower women with awareness of different cancers, we invite you to come to our first community event of the year which is the private screening of “ NED – The Movie.” This is a documentary you will not want to miss! Everything you need to know about gynecological cancers to “be down there are”.  It is a perfect occasion to bring a friend or two, watch the movie together, have a Q&A with experts in the matter, and enjoy a small reception at the end.
