CONNECT Silent Art Auction fundraising & benefit cocktail is about CONNECTing our hearts to the art of giving through the fine arts to help women with gynecological cancers.  CONNECTing fine arts to the art of giving through a silent auction fundraising event will help Latinas 4 Latinas tap on more generous hearts and raise funds to bring proper medical care and attention medically underserved Latino women with cancer in the DC area through the patient navigation services of Nueva Vida

The art auction will feature 40 local and international contemporary art artists with solid careers in the art world, having shown their work at galleries, art fairs, art centers and museums locally and internationally. Our guests will also enjoy a lovely, cultural and fun evening accompanied by music, hors d’ourvres and drinks.

Payment for the artwork is required when the silent auction ends at the event. Only major credit and debit cards are accepted as a method of payment. The artwork will be ready for immediate pickup before the end of the event.

Beneficiary – Nueva Vida

A percentage of the proceeds of this fundraising event will go directly to Nueva Vida, community-based charity organization that helps Latino woman battling OBGYN cancer navigate them through the healthcare system, from diagnosis to treatment to post-treatment care.  Most of these women have no knowledge of the disease, and most importantly, have no means to pay for the adequate treatment.
